Media/PR program
Australia-wide
Hungry Jack's is one of Australia's premier fast food brands and is actively engaged in an aggressive national expansion program.
MCS provides Hungry Jack's with a very successful localised Media/PR program to support the opening of new stores, the refurbishment of existing stores, special promotions and crisis management support.
Our activities target specifically-selected local media with professional media-oriented information on Hungry Jack's positive impact on the local community, such as employment opportunities, financial implications and environmental management.
This is supported by further information on the company's position within the market and the quality of the food it offers.
MCS has also co-ordinated the opening of new and refurbished stores, along with several themed restaurant openings in conjunction with local management, such as a 'surf life saving support' theme for Warrnambool (Victoria) and 'rock & roll/classic cars' theme (Geelong), opposite the Ford factory.
These events included displays of classic cars, Santa visits, life saving demonstrations, and therefore generated high local media exposure.
The objective of the Hungry Jack's Media/PR program is to portray the company as a responsive and responsible organisation, actively involved in the local community.
A prime example of these values was illustrated during the 2003 Canberra Bush Fire crisis, when Hungry Jack's offered free food to any working fire or rescue crew member. Through the promotion of this offer by the MCS media network, Hungry Jack’s received positive media coverage around the nation.
